Hecht GG10000 Three-Phase Generator, 8.5 kW, 12 hp Engine

Hecht GG 10000

Three-phase generator

Need a reliable source of electricity for demanding tasks?

The HECHT GG 10000 is designed for demanding users, from construction professionals to homeowners and allotment owners seeking dependable backup power. High output, easy starting and thoughtful construction make it equipment you can rely on.

Why choose the HECHT GG 10000?

• Power that makes a difference – 12 hp engine — sufficient to power tools, construction machinery, heating systems or household appliances. 8500 W maximum / 7500 W rated output — starts high-demand equipment, including induction-motor appliances such as compressors, washing machines and pressure washers.
• Power what you need — 2 sockets 230 V — ideal for standard appliances. 1 socket 400 V — for three-phase machinery. 1 socket 12 V — for charging batteries and electronics.
• Operating comfort and safety — AVR (automatic voltage regulator) — maintains stable voltage under varying loads. Electric start — start it with a turn of the key, like a car. Alternative recoil start — a backup if the battery fails. Voltmeter and circuit protection — monitor and protect equipment connected to the generator.

Thoughtful construction: mobility despite its 102 kg weight

Despite its substantial weight, the generator sits on a steel frame with transport wheels and a handle, making it easier to move where needed. Suitable for:

• construction sites,
• workshops,
• use as backup power for a home, central heating boiler or cold store.

How to size a generator: a simple calculation

Many appliances, particularly those with motors, require more power at startup than during operation. Here are some examples:

• Factor 1x: hairdryers, mixers, lamps.
• Factor 2x: washing machines, lawnmowers, electric saws.
• Factor 3x or more: refrigerators, compressors, concrete mixers.

Example: a 600 W appliance with a factor of 2 requires a generator rated at least 1200 W.
